How to Start MANUAL BACKUP in Symantec Netbackup

One can start the backup even if it exceeds the window time , last weekend we had a change windows which caused all our MONTHLY BACKUPS to exceed the SCHEDULED WINDOWS and then when we tried to restart the job it was failing with error 196 ( client backup was not attempted because backup window closed ) and as our backups are critical we have restarted the backups manually.

1) Select the policy which you want to restart

Then we will be getting a window which asks us to select the schedule which we want to start a manual backup now select the schedule and clients ( If required ) and then click OK

2) Now select the option MANUAL BACKUP on the top of the window

Done , now go and check in your activity monitor your backup would have been started.
